After one year of two terrible dog walkers, I finally found American Pet Sitting Services web site. I met with Melissa who was pleasant and professional, my dog Riley instantly liked and felt comfortable with her.

Melissa has taken care of Riley for over 3 years and I couldn't have asked for a better walker but also person. Melissa truly cares for Riley, she knows when he isn't feeling well and informs of any physical and psychological changes with him. Riley is a rescue dog who came to me as dog aggressive. Riley couldn't be walked around others dogs, needing a very patient person who could handle him. In the past two years with Melissa's patience and skill, Riley is less aggressive and even has learned some new tricks. I never thought I would see Riley come near any dog but he now can, thanks to Melissa.

I often travel but never worry knowing Melissa is there to take care of my baby boy. Riley has become increasingly attached to Melissa and looks forward to his time with her. Melissa reminds me of an Angel sent from St. Francis to care for our beloved animals. Melissa offers a reasonable price for wonderful service. It's a great comfort to know that they are taking care of her when I can't be there. They leave me a detailed note at the end of each visit letting me know everything that happened during the visit, as well as any change in her behavior or well-being that they notice. And on the occasion when my dog got sick while I was away, the APSS called immediately to let me know what was happening and rushed her to our vet for emergency care. It was such a comfort to know that someone who loves her was there for her when I couldn't be.
